Brief Description of The Rottweiler Dog: The Rottweiler dog breed can be traced back to Roman times when they were used for herding cattle and at one time they were also used for pulling carriages filled with  products for marketing. The Rottweiler dog is quite an awesome and powerful machine. They grow  to medium large and they are quite robust powerful dogs, black with clearly defined rust markings. The Rottweiler dog's  compact and substantial build denotes great strength and agility. Rottweiler dogs on the whole are an extremely powerful breed of dogs with well developed inherited herding and guarding instincts. There are some that prefer the Rottweiler for sheep herding than the regular type of sheep herding dogs. It is said that if the Rottweiler  work with sheep for a period of time, the dog will naturally  develop a correlation type of connection with the sheep, but in the same instance the will still let them know who is the boss.
