Black-headed Gull Profile A Black-headed Gull Picture! Showing in picture is a Black-headed Gull, a species of birds that are not sea gulls they are mostly seen flying over rivers and lakes. Black-headed gulls are largely scavengers, large quantities of the species are usually seen foraging garbage dumps, they are even found on farm land feeding on reptiles insects, small creatures and worms The black-headed gull hasn't really got a black head as the name suggest! Their head colour is more like that of dark chocolate brown colour as shown in the picture. Black-headed gulls normally breeds in south Greenland, Iceland, Europe also, into Asia.
