Picture of London Air Ambulance
A description of London Air Ambulance as shown in picture! London's Air Ambulance was formed in 1989 by Dr. Alastair Wilson, OBE, and headed by chief of trauma James Attridge. The London Air Ambulance is based at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel! Its a service that is unique to the United Kingdom. On board the helicopter is a doctor who is fully trained in emergency medicine, there is also a paramedic available at all times! The London Air Ambulance is also known as a (HEMS) Helicopter Emergency Medical Service! The medical service is fully operative from 7am until sunset, and there is a fault with the helicopter making it incapable to fly or, if there are difficulties associated with landing on sites that hasn't been surveyed at nights, the medical crew will still act in response to emergencies, by travelling in specially built fitted equipped rapid response motor cars that only operate sporadically during the day!
