The Lesser Whistling Duck has several common names apart from being called the Lesser Whistling Ducks they are also called, Indian Whistling Ducks, Thai Ducks, and Tree-Ducks! Lesser Whistling Ducks are small waterfowls that breeds mainly in South of Asia and they can also be found in Pakistan's lower river valleys eastwards across most of peninsular including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and even in Vietnam! The Lesser Whistling duck species are also found in southeastern Asia and South Asia! Lesser Whistling Ducks migrate in huge flocks of more than a thousand birds and yet, strangely enough they all always arrived at their chosen destination spot on at dawn! | |
