Brief Description of Australian Shelduck: The Australian Shelduck has an orange throat black and white wings the white is only seen in flight, they  also have a white ring around their necks. These birds love to waddle in muddy waters as shown in the picture. Australian Shelducks eats insects and small shrimps and build their nest with dry grass and line the nest with down. They usually gather in large flocks.
